The project of Rękodzielnia (Handicraft place) in Marki, suburban Warsaw, is an indirect reference to the former, pre-war function of the Brother Briggs wool manufacturing plant. Referencing the rapid economic expansion of the city at the end of XIX century. The guiding principle for this project was to create a new cultural center of the city, with a renewed factory unit adapted to a wide range of art/craft activities, workshops, and exhibitions.
